BEEF RESULTS

This weeks edition of AudioBeef ended in draw!! Dave and Kev battled it out for 10 rounds, each contender throwing some heavy blows and some seriously twisted opinions into the mix! Dave opened well with a hard rockin` start to the night, but lost serious points in the sensitive rounds. Kevy drew a lead in the final round after listeners judged him to have a better score in the bedroom!
Kev would have secured certain victory secured in the final round, but the battle closed at 4 all, with 2 tied rounds as the listeners rallied to Dave`s support with an epic Sunsetter track...an excellent start to the semester and good craic all round!
Next week, Will Warnock of QR Programme Control and SHAZAM! fame will lock musical heads with Elis Scaly, the temptress of the decks! Who will win? YOU DECIDE!

Reader`s Wives Competition

Hi everyone! Welcome back to Queen`s Radio 2010!
Just to give you all a heads up of what`s coming this semester from the lovely folk @ QR
- We start broadcasting again from the first Monday of term, so tune in to help shake off the revision blues and sore heads from post-exam de-stressing
- QR are re-launching as a digital station, so to celebrate we`re having a party! Details to be announced, but expect local bands and a mighty session near the end of Feb
- We are always looking for new talent to join the Station, so if you are experienced in Radio or have none at all but want to join in, drop me a line via dave.verner@queensradio.org and I`ll make sure you get the help you need to get started.
- The new term see`s new senior members of staff to the station and I`d like to warmly welcome them to their positions:
