What is the tech team?
The tech team works to manage all of the audio and sound aspects of QR. Whether it is recording and mixing podcasts, or providing live audio solutions for events like Underground and Live in Session!

Underground is our pinnacle live music event. We invite local artists to a venue and give them a stage to perform on. We have a big focus on new music at QR and love to promote local talent.
Underground is also always a good evenings craic!

We Host live in sessions throughout the year as a platform for an artist or band to get a recording of a live set. We host this in the Sonic Lab in SARC, and it allows a new artist to build their portfolio to start in the industry.

For every show that is produced on QR, we have an assigned member of the tech team. They are responsible for the live mixing and recording of a show for broadcast on the station.
It is a great opportunity to build experience behind a sound desk and working with presenters and producers!
